Bible 9 Online with Books

Bible 9 consists of 3 modules:

– Why the Bible Matters explains the Bible’s design and function; how the Bible relates to science, history, and literature; and why the Bible is vital in making decisions. Mr. Farley teaches this course.

– Publish Great Things presents the history of missions, emphasizes the involvement of laypersons, and addresses principles and procedures of missions. Mr. Mendoza teaches this course.

– That I May Know Him presents basic Christian living skills by focusing on the example of Jesus as portrayed in the Gospel of Mark. Mr. May teaches this course.

Scheduling Information: 180 Days (84 video + 96 non-video days); lessons are 15 minutes in length.

This is an elective which is not included in the Grade 9 Complete Kit.

Mr. Manuel Mendoza, BA, MA, MDiv, is excited about the privilege of teaching students the Bible. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 14. It wasn’t until he was 21 years old that he knew the Lord’s calling for his life was to preach His Word. “The Bible can convert the soul of the unbeliever, and it cleanses the soul of the believer. The Bible is important for our times, and, therefore, it must be taught accurately. For me, teaching the Bible is a great joy and privilege. My desire is to help guide your student through a life that is pleasing to Jesus Christ. My goal is for the student to strive for holy living by developing sound convictions based on God’s Word.”

Mr. Barkley May, BA, MA, MDiv, enjoys teaching from God’s Word. “God’s Word is powerful. It convicts, encourages, challenges, and strengthens the believer–and it is still the final and absolute authority for us today. All of God’s Word is just as relevant and applicable to us as it was to those to whom it was originally written. For these reasons it is exciting and challenging to teach the Bible to your student. My goal is that each student will deepen his knowledge of God’s Word, better understand how the Bible applies to him, and grow in his relationship with Christ.”
