Music is Fun – Gr. 5

Develop knowledge, creativity, and a positive understanding of the elements found in music. The various ideas and activities found in this resource focus on the following musical skills: recognition of types of notes and rests and their values, identifying musical symbols and terms such as tied notes, bar line, double bar line, bar or measure, sharps, flats, becoming familiar with the composter Tchaikovsky, learning about keyboard instruments and their notes, and interpreting beat and rhythm.
