Landforms and Water Bodies – Level 1

This is the first of three books on landforms and water bodies. Twenty two activities include student answers, cut-outs and a quiz; perfect for a primary level teaching unit! The many three-dimensional drawings and simple maps will help grade 2-3 readers visualize Earth’s most common natural features.

While students should be able to describe landforms and water bodies in their own words, it is also important that they recognize these natural features in drawings and maps. Through visual materials, as well as local field excursions, students will develop those skills required to identify different landforms and water bodies and use these geographical terms naturally.
