Evolution: The Grand Experiment – DVD Episode 1

Filmed in 3 continents and seven countries over a 12-year period, the DVD series has highlights from 12 dig sites, 60 museums, and many universities. Narrated by Andres Williams of London, this Hollywood-style production has a feel of a television documentary.

This first episode coincides with Volume 1 of Evolution: The Grand Experiment, (part of the Life Science: Origins & Scientific Theory Curriculum Pack), and is designed to be viewed by a general audience or in the classroom to supplement the teacher’s manual. This episode documents many misleading museum displays, science magazine articles, and television documentaries including “dinosaurs with feathers,” “walking whales,” “flying dinosaurs.” Bonus materials include an interview with author Dr. Carl Werner and a discussion on flying reptiles (Pterosaurs).
