I can Make a Difference

Relationships, Rules, and Responsibilities… these are the 3 Rs that help to develop a kind, caring, fair, and respectful person.  Easy-to-follow activities incorporate these qualities using examples of everyday situations found within a primary student’s environment, such as bullying, being a good friend, and telling the truth.  Open-ended activities and engaging drawings promote discussion and lead students to make thoughtful decisions.  Through situation activities, primary students learn that they can make a difference by choosing appropriate social behaviours.

This book is designed to help primary students understand why rules and responsibilities are important in the relationships of their daily lives.  The unique Teacher Zone at the bottom of each page defines important terms, clarifies objectives and suggests further activities.
