Miquon Math Green Book (Gr.2)

While not new to home educators Miquon Math is a new product for us to carry though we have done special orders for customers for some time. This is a math program that will introduce your children to basic mathematical concepts as well as broader mathematical concepts using a hands-on methodology. Emphasis on problem solving and thinking creatively are an important part of the program. This hands-on program makes extensive use of Cuisinare Rods to illustrate mathematical concepts in a concrete way . Cuisinare Rods are necessary to the effectively use the program. The Miquon Math Green Book is designed for younger children but can also be used as a supplement for older children. Since this is a hands-on learning approach each workbook page is a different activity.
