Following the same format as Math K and Math 1, Saxon Math 2 teaches your child to: 

• compare and order numbers
• identify sorting and patterning rules
• master multiplication facts to 5
• add and subtract tw0-digit numbers
• picture and name fractions
• measure to the nearest centimeter, foot, and half inch
• compare volume
• compare and measure mass
• measure perimeter and area
• tell time to five-minute intervals
• identify lines of symmetry and angles

This Complete Kit includes the spiralbound Teacher’s Manual, Student Workbooks, cardstock Fact Cards, and the student Meeting Book.

The Teacher’s Manual contains daily lessons which include preclass preparation instructions, a list of materials, and the entire scripted leson. Scripted lessons provide you with language and questioning strategies designed to help your child understand the mathematical concepts taught. Includes master sheets for lesson activities and handwriting practice.

The Meeting Book is used by the student to practice skills related to time, temperature, money, counting, patterning, and problem solving.

The Student Workbooks include written practice pages, masters, and fact cards.
