The quizzes and tests are written in Spanish with few English instructions so that students will show their comprehension abilities when choosing answers for the blanks. Scripture memorization is included on the quizzes and tests. Answer choices are sometimes very similar, but only one will complete the answer correctly because of the grammar’s requirements. Example: If a sentence says El _____ va a la escuela and the choices given are between chico, chicos, and chica, the students know that only chico will be the correct answer. (The first word in the sentence Elis the singular, masculine form which means “the.” The choices given mean “boy, boys, and girl.” The word va means “he or she goes.”)
