Truth & Reconciliation is part of Canadian culture and history, yet the knowledge gap is large, and these workbooks will help remedy that.  This workbook is the culmination of the combined efforts of 8 Indigenous authors, artists and Classroom Ready. It serves to provide a resource that includes high-quality lessons and activities, consisting of topics that can be used by someone with little or no prior knowledge or understanding of Indigenous subjects or Peoples.

The subjects have been presented clearly but with sensitivity and at an age-appropriate level.  This workbook is geared to a grade 8-12 reading level. It is also available in a grade 5-7 reading level, where the font is ideal for younger readers and it features shorter sentence structure for easy reading and comprehension. Please note, these reading levels do not limit the resource to those grades, but rather accommodate the readers reading level.
