Language Lessons for a Living Education 8 Set

Language Lessons for a Living Education Level 8 is a dynamic homeschool curriculum that equips eighth-grade students with essential communication skills through a biblical lens. This engaging program combines creative spelling and vocabulary exercises, foundational grammar and punctuation lessons, and personal writing assignments. Weekly special features such as book passages, hymns, scriptures, and poetry set the tone creating a very engaging atmosphere for learning language arts. Worldview lessons enhance critical thinking and personal faith, guiding students to craft their own statements of faith. With a focus on effective and righteous communication, this course prepares students to make a lasting impact with the gospel.

Course Overview: Lessons are scheduled for five days a week and can be accomplished in about 40 minutes.

• Exercise 1 of each lesson begins with a special feature, teaching creativity, vocabulary, and spelling words.
• Exercise 2 is devoted to grammar and punctuation, including writing application.
• Exercise 3 is all about communication. Students are equipped with biblical application for expression, essay writing, and common courtesies.
• Exercise 4 is focused on worldview lessons to strengthen critical thinking and personal faith.
• Exercise 5 is a review of what students have learned in the lesson to reinforce concepts. The review may be used as a quiz or test.

Since this course follows God’s Story for Exercise 4 of each lesson, we have included it in this set with the workbook.  However students can read the referenced passages from their own Bible or Bible Storybook rather than God's Story if preferred.  If you decide to do this, each book can be purchased separately.
