Primary Mathematics (Standards Edition) Extra Practice 1 - 6 is a series of five supplementary books that follows the topical arrangement in the corresponding grade level of Primary Mathematics Standards Edition textbooks.

Friendly Notes at the beginning of each unit provide a source for reference and revision of concepts. The level of difficulty, as well as the style of the problem, is similar to the exercises in the Textbooks and Workbooks. The short and topic-specific exercises enable instructors to assign work only in those topics in which the student needs more practice. This, together with the simple language used, allows students to review mathematics with minimal guidance.

Primary Mathematics Standards Edition Extra Practice aims to consolidate and reinforce the mathematical skills taught in the Primary Mathematics series. It is for both home and classroom use. It allows teachers to identify and assign specific topics that are challenging to students, and exercises can serve as reviews for tests. Exercises generally provide problems of a similar style and level of difficulty as the course material.
