Introduce your students to the most popular literary accomplishments of William Shakespeare. Easy-reading adaptations will ignite the interest of both reluctant and enthusiastic readers. Each title is arranged in 10 short chapters with key words defined and used in context. The integrity of the original plays have been retained but essentially converted into story format. Each chapter is followed by multiple-choice questions that require students to recall specific details, sequence events, draw inferences, develop new story names, and choose the main idea. 72-pages.

NOTE: These are generally regarded as remedial study guides. They are high interest/low vocab to spark interest in older students who struggle in language arts. Level 1 would appear to be a Gr.2-3 reading level. After that each level gets a little harder. By Level 5 it would seem to be about a Gr.7-8 reading level. These are appropriate for high school students who struggle in language arts. Also, activity pages are reproducible for your own family or a single classroom.
