Learning Language Arts Through Literature is a complete language arts program for this grade level. Using an integrated approach to learning, students learn the skills appropriate for each grade level in the context of real literature. This program includes all the language skills: reading, spelling, grammar, higher order thinking skills, and creative writing in an easy-to-use format.
The Blue Teacher Book has thirty-six weekly lessons divided into easy-to-use daily plans. For your convenience, Teacher Notes and answers are right in the margin of the teacher book. The Skills Index provides an easy reference.
Please Note: the Student Activity Book is necessary to complete this program, as well as many readers and a materials packet (included in the Blue Book Kit). The Teacher Book should only be purchased alone if replacing one you have lost or misplaced.
This 3rd Edition has been updated with clearer instructions and a colorized student book to make it more engaging for the beginning reader. ** THIS EDITION IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PREVIOUS EDITIONS.**
Purchase the Blue Book Complete Package if you would like to include all the read-alouds required for this program rather than find them at the library.
Teacher Book available in hard copy and ebook format. The ebook version is not an immediate download and will be sent in a separate email as soon as possible. The download link is only valid for 2 weeks, so please download and save to your device once you receive it.
