Building Spelling Skills Book 2

This course features a review of phonics and spelling patterns from Buildlling Spelling Skills: Book 1, and then goes on to explore a variety of consonant combinations, blends, digraphs, the spelling of certain peculiar phonetic sounds, and larger word parts. It ends with spelling words incorporated into reading selections.

Word list exercises, choose the best answer, fill in the blank, list writing practice, sentence practice, categorization and other type questions help with reinforcement and retention of spelling words and principles.

Test sheets are included at the back of the book. With 36 units and 5 lessons per unit, the text is designed to be used daily over a 36 week period.
