Come Sit By Me Vol. I

This is a wonderful resource for those teaching young children. It is a literature based unit study that uses Canadian children’s literature. It covers all subject areas from science, to math and art. The books are arranged into units of study. Units cover themes such as snow, poetry, grandparents, bugs and more! Each volume also contains a unit which travels across Canada via picture books. Memory verses and Bible stories are also suggested. If you would like, you can use the Maple Tree Art Pack in conjunction with the Canadian Unit in either volume. All you need to add is a math and phonics program for a fun and meaningful year of learning. A great addition to the Canadian home educating scene.
