Megawords Level 1 Student, 3rd Ed

Level 1 Megawords targets syllable types and syllabication rules. It is perfect for students in grades 4-12 who are beginner spellers or for older students who do not have a good grasp on syllables.

This book is consumable and you will need one per student. The instructions and answers are in the Teacher’s Guide.

Course Information: Engaging exercises provide practice in reading and spelling skills at the syllable, combined-syllable, and whole-word levels. Students expand vocabulary through work with list words in a variety of contexts – activities such as matching words with definitions, proofreading, crosswords, and fill-in-the-blanks. Each lesson concludes with activities to enhance word-reading automaticity and fluency, using connected text passages to build content knowledge and apply comprehension strategies effectively.
