Building Spelling Skills Book 5

This workbook departs from the the use of phonics rules and presents spelling words in groups according to various domains of knowledge. Domains include (but are not limited to) world and U.S. geography, astronomy, anatomy, health, law, economics, music, buildings, and animals. Word-bank, crossword, fill-in-the-blank, and other exercises are used to provide variety and help students with retention.

Test sheets are included at the back of the book. With 36 units and 5 lessons per unit, the text is designed to be used daily over a 36 week period.
